Today is Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节), "one of the two most important holidays in the Lunar calendar (the other being the Lunar New Year)."
As the above Wikipedia article mentioned, "the traditional food of this festival is the moon cake, of which there are many different varieties." Indeed, see the picture at right for the moon cake I am going to enjoy tonight in Sydney. ;-)
